Product Owner, Front End

Summary

Join Paytronix as a Product Owner and contribute to the strategic product roadmap for our front-end (merchant experience) development team. You will collaborate with product, design, and software development teams to create and deliver front-end software. Responsibilities include backlog management, iteration planning, prioritizing tasks, aligning engineering priorities with product strategy, and training internal teams. You will work with various stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver status reports. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• Able to proactively manage your workload and tasks independently, demonstrating good judgment in prioritization and time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interface and collaborate with clients, peers, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in
• An eye for excellent visual design with sensitivity to user-system interaction

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, backlog management, iteration planning and elaboration of user stories for a front-end development team
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on changing priorities
• Align engineering priorities with product strategy to achieve overall business goals
• Train internal teams on product enhancements and future engineering goals
• Work with the product team, internal stakeholders, and end-users to deliver updates and status reports on product initiatives
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to translate requirements into functional specifications, ensuring a balance between technical and customer-centric priorities
• Gathering requirements and feedback from a variety of people, including users, product development team members and management team members
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standup meetings, and other agile development activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management
