Summary
Join Mindex, a leading software development company, as a Product Owner/Business Analyst. You will be an independent decision-maker, directing the work of agile teams, defining and prioritizing tasks in the product backlog, and ensuring timely product releases. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to formulate strategies, maximize revenue, and minimize risk. Maintain ongoing client relationships and conduct research to inform decisions. This role requires strong partnership with the Scrum Master and Lead Engineer, providing project delivery and leadership to the agile team. Requirements
- 2+ years of Product Ownership experience

Responsibilities
- Develops a deep understanding of the body of work, partners with the team and project stakeholders to elaborate clear solution requirements
- Partners with the Product Manager to translate high-level project deliverables into actionable product plans
- Communicates and collaborates with internal and external team members to identify product improvements, analyze user needs, identify project scope, and document features/high level functional requirements
- Facilitates PI planning projects alongside the Scrum Master to ensure scope and delivery plans align
- Collaborates with client stakeholders to work towards the client’s long-term product deliverables and project roadmap
- Partners with project stakeholders to provide clarity and support of project release planning
- Ensures product backlog and project requirements are aligned
- Facilitates refinement of requirements via elaboration and grooming sessions to ensure scrum team alignment for functional and non-functional requirements
- Represents Product Management on project teams as the Decision Maker to assist in answering questions and to provide direction to project scrum teams
- Provides direction and mentorship to the agile team and the Business Analyst to ensure project deliverables are understood and accepted by the team
- Demonstrates the ability to use graphical representation to augment textual requirements such as diagrams, models, workflow diagrams, and story maps
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree in Business, Communications, or related area
- Experience within the Financial / Human Resource industry
- Knowledge in basic data analysis, public speaking, agile methodologies, software delivery life cycle (SDLC)
