Production Artist

Summary

LA is seeking a full-time Production Artist with 2-4 years of experience in the entertainment industry to produce high-quality mechanicals for various print and digital projects. The candidate should have expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work remotely. The compensation range is $70,000-$75,000.

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience as Production Artist, preferably within the entertainment theatrical, broadcast, and streaming platform spaces
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Portfolio demonstrating strong mechanicals and production designs with entertainment key art experience
• Exceptional organizational skills and unparalleled attention to detail
• A self-starter with the maturity and ability to work remotely
• Flexibility with working hours when deadlines necessitate
• The ability to stay calm and level-headed, in high-pressure situations, especially with last-second requests and projects

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality mechanicals for various print and digital projects
• Review and edit files to ensure accuracy and consistency within the company's branding guidelines
• Work alongside designers to prepare layouts for comps
• Implement revisions to match client's or designer's requests
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all project deadlines are met
• Execute pre-press requirements for various clients and projects based on specifications provided
• Maintain organized electronic files for multiple versions of projects/compositions
