Production Development Intern

Summary

New Guards Group is seeking a Production Development Intern to support the production process of their Shoes collection. The intern will work under the Production Manager, overseeing all phases of production and advancement. The role is based in Milan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Product Development or Economics or Management Engineering (currently enrolled)
• Proven curiosity and passion for the luxury fashion industry
• Proactive and flexible team player
• Good propensity for problem solving and accuracy
• Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken this will be tested in the selection process

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in production fittings, check the quality and fit of products together with the product office and external suppliers
• Create production books for suppliers with fitting notes and packaging and labeling guidelines
• Precise and constant monitoring and analysis of assigned orders
• Sample traffic management between HQ, warehouse and suppliers
• Enter data into the ERP software, archiving and updating production related documents
• Monitor pre-production samples between production in headquarters and the suppliers
• Liaise with the product development team and build and manage relationships with suppliers
