Product Development Intern

Summary

The job is for a full-time Product Development Intern at Madhappy, a clothing brand in Los Angeles. The intern will work closely with the design/PD team, schedule runs to various vendors, help connect team needs to vendor resources, organize material libraries and garment archives, and perform office tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to problem solve in the field with minimal supervision
• Must have great interpersonal skills to develop relationships with material vendors and factories around the LA area
• Good time management and critical thinking skills
• Must be flexible and able to work with a fluid schedule
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Must have a car and valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Work closely with design/PD team to schedule daily runs to dye houses, material vendors, garment factories
• Help in connecting team needs to vendor resources
• Organize and maintain material libraries and garment archives
• Receive and distro packages
• Heavy use of Excel/Google Sheets
• Perform various office/admin tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Related experience in garments preferred (retail, fashion program enrollment)
• Proactive and an independent problem solver
