Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting and maintaining Java-based applications , including release support, issue triage, root cause analysis, and implementing or recommending system fixes
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services and service-oriented architecture with public APIs
  • Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery , and Angular
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing , mocking , and test automation
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) , including EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB; experience with AWS Lambda is a plus
  • Experience working in Linux environments ; knowledge of containers and Docker is a plus
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

  • Apply effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues, and thoroughly document all actions taken
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer-reported issues
  • Respond to production incidents and apply continuous improvement practices to drive long-term solutions
  • Perform advanced query analysis and troubleshooting using relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment, with a strong sense of ownership from issue identification through resolution
  • Participate in design and code reviews to support quality and knowledge sharing across the team
  • Maintain flexible working hours to support collaboration with both local and remote team members
