Summary

Join Blew & Associates, P.A., a national firm specializing in land surveying, engineering, and environmental services, as a Professional Land Surveyor. Oversee and manage survey technicians, perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews, and conduct detailed research at various government levels. Requirements

  • A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required
  • Field and office experience in land surveying is essential
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and the ability to take direction and grow with the company
  • A proven track record of managing survey crews
  • Self-motivation, drive, and the ability to work remotely are important for success in this role
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage survey technicians
  • Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews
  • Conduct detailed research at the town, county, and state levels
  • Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and determine the best approach to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Perform calculations of quantities and volumes
  • Communicate with crew chiefs and our operations team on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and the operations team will be necessary for providing status updates, discussing challenges, and addressing plan revisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple state licensures
  • Proficiency with Quickbase to log job statuses
  • A proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue
