Summary

Who We Are. PKH is a nonprofit ed tech company helping UNC System universities grow adult learners through online delivery. The Program Director will lead academic program design, development, and deployment for institutions.

Requirements

• Candidates ideally have a master’s (doctorate preferred) degree with substantial experience in designing, developing, and deploying academic programs
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a fast-paced, growing institution
• At least 5 years of experience working closely with instructional design teams and faculty, preferably in an online setting with non-traditional student population
• 3 years of workplace experience outside of higher education
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to think strategically
• Data analysis and forecasting skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Expertise in curriculum and academic program management

Responsibilities

• Serve as academic liaison for PKH with partner institutions and instructional design team
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure successful design and development of programs and courses for adult learners
• Communicate effectively with partners, program chairs, and faculty to execute, grow, and maintain academic programs
• Assist with scheduling and capacity planning of courses and faculty with institutions’ program chair/director of academic programs
• Collaborate across PKH teams to ensure a best-in-class student experience
• Identify relevant trends and best practices in online adult education for academic programs
• Lead ongoing, term-by-term academic program reviews
• Develop annual plans for refreshing/revising/updating academic programs
• Support the development of a long-term strategy for academic programs
• Work closely with PKH digital and product team on leveraging technology to improve academic program design, development, and deployment
