Join SMX as a Project Analyst and support multiple dynamic projects on the Tactical and Remote C5I Edge Systems (TARCES) contract. You will act as a vital project expediter, collaborating with Project Managers to ensure smooth operations and efficient progress. This role involves supporting project execution, collaborating with team members, assisting in budget development, drafting subcontractor documentation, monitoring deliverables, and managing project risks. You will also prepare and track procurement and travel documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication and organizational skills. Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (current clearance preferred)
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience providing project support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- An associate's degree and 4 additional years; or 6 additional years in lieu of a degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience in reviewing, editing, and managing technical documentation
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and support Project Managers in meeting competing deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally
- Strong skills in data management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational processes
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and achieve results
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers (PMs) in all aspects of project execution, including technical tasks and administrative management, to ensure project success
- Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a cooperative and communicative environment
- Assist PMs in developing budgets, drafting cost estimates, planning Estimates at Completion (EACs), and maintaining essential project documentation throughout the lifecycle of annual Periods of Performance (PoP) and entire projects
- Draft and coordinate with PMs to implement subcontractor documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW) and deliverables
- Monitor and support the timely completion and submission of deliverables, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and deadlines
- Prepare, submit, and track procurement and travel-related documentation in collaboration with PMs, including Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs), Travel Authorization Requests (TARs), Purchase Requests (PRs), and Purchase Change Requests (PCRs)
- Identify, assess, and manage potential project risks in collaboration with PMs, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize negative impacts and safeguard project objectives throughout the lifecycle

- Helpdesk support experience
- Network cable and infrastructure (inside/outside plant) knowledge
