Project Controls Scheduler

Summary

The job is for a Project Scheduler at Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS), a company working on fusion energy. Requirements

• BA/BS in engineering, business administration or equivalent
• 4-7 years of experience in Scheduling management for complex projects & programs

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules
• Collaborate with technical project managers, engineers, supply chain, production and other stakeholders to gather project requirements
• Analyze project scope, objectives, and constraints to identify critical path activities and potential risks
• Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Develop detailed 4 Weeks Lookahead based on the current resources
• Conduct regular progress meetings with project teams to review schedule updates, address concerns, and resolve conflicts
• Generate reports and visualizations to communicate schedule status, performance metrics, and forecasts to project stakeholders
• Continuously improve scheduling processes and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, other scheduling tools will be a plus

Benefits

$80,000 - $180,000 a year Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience
