Summary
Join Foth, a member-owned science and engineering consulting firm, as a Lead Project Scheduler. You will develop and maintain project schedules and cost controls for engineering and construction projects, spending 75% of your time on scheduling and 25% on cost controls. This role involves all project phases, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The position is preferably located in Green Bay, but remote work from other US locations is possible. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in construction management or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in Project Controls or Project Planning & Controls roles
- Experience in leading scheduling efforts on engineering projects over $500,000 and construction projects over $5M
- Proven track record in handling complex financial data sets and integrating them into existing MS Project dashboards
- Demonstrated proficiency in the procurement process and the ability to translate data into tracking tools
- Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud, Primavera P6, or MS Project scheduling software
- Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis, conditional formatting, data validation, and pivot tables
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software tools
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Prepare regular status reports and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets
- Monitor and track project expenditures
- Support the analysis of cost variances and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Contribute to the development of cost control policies and procedures
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including the creation and utilization of complex formulas, lookup functions, and integration of data sets into existing Excel files
- General understanding of Power BI, with future utilization of Power BI dashboards
- Experience with multiple ERP systems, including Deltek Vision and/or VantagePoint
- PSP and/or AACE certifications are a plus but not required
