Requirements
- Candidates must be working towards a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
- Must be self-motivated and interested in learning all aspects of environmental and geotechnical construction
- Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards, and an understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
- Above average oral and written communication skills, leadership skills, along with use of judgement and creativity applied to resolution of issues
- Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers
Responsibilities

- Perform Project specific engineering support, including: Prepare project submittals. Maintain project record documents. Perform technical review of contract plans and specifications. Provide oversight and documentation related to project quality control in accordance with the contract plans, specifications, and company policies and procedures
- Prepare daily construction reports and progress tracking
- Manage, interpret, and perform site surveying
- Assist with the management of subcontractors
- Assist with the procurement or rental of equipment and materials
- Assist Project Manager with project daily cost reporting and tracking
- Perform Office engineering support, including: Assist in the development of project cost estimates, proposals, and material take-offs. Perform technical analysis of the remediation methodologies of various previously remediated projects
- Perform other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned
