Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience with executive level communications: create and present materials
  • Ability to execute in a remote workforce environment; develop relationships and achieve desired outcomes with a remote workforce
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget requirements
  • Identify and document project dependencies, risks, and constraints
  • Assemble a project team with the necessary skills and expertise
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, and provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Establish effective communication channels and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Drive accountability
  • Provide regular project updates and reports
  • Identify and assess project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Proactively monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Develop and provide project status reports, metrics, and relevant information radiators to executive management
  • Monitor project progress against the project plan, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
  • Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during project execution
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Implement quality control processes and perform regular quality assessments
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes
  • Generate and distribute project reports to stakeholders, providing insights into project performance and milestones achieved

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management background in a hospital or health system IT environment
  • Experience with implementing Electronic Medical Record (EMR), or Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems
  • Medical systems, EHR, EMR, compliance policies such as HIPAA
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or other relevant certifications are a plus
