Summary

Join PSI, a leading Contract Research Organization, as a Project Finance Manager. This remote position in France involves managing clinical project budgets, negotiating and analyzing budgets, and supporting bid and contract management activities. You will develop study budgets, manage budgets throughout project duration, develop sponsor contracts, and manage timesheet systems. The role requires a college degree in Finance/Economics, at least 3 years of experience in project budgeting and financial analysis in a CRO setting, and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Requirements

  • Possess a College or University degree, preferably in Finance/Economics
  • Have at least 3 years' experience in project budgeting and financial analysis in a CRO setting
  • Achieve a Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) C1 level in English
  • Demonstrate proficiency in standard MS Office applications, with advanced use of MS Excel
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Possess strong communication/negotiation skills
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with all involved departments and sponsors
  • Demonstrate the ability to produce accurate and timely information/reports
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to perform multi-task activities
  • Demonstrate the ability to train others

Responsibilities

  • Develop study budget (preparation of budgets for bids and change of order budgets for on-going projects)
  • Manage study budget throughout the clinical project duration (setup and maintenance of project finance information in PSI internal systems, preparation of accrual reports, request for invoices)
  • Develop Sponsor Contract (preparation of sponsor agreements and change orders, development of payment schedules)
  • Manage Timesheet System (setup and maintenance of project-specific timesheets in PSI’s internal system, management of reconciliation of actual vs budget costs on a regular basis)
