
Project Management Managing Consultant

Join Avicado as a Project Management Managing Consultant and lead projects from end to end, working with clients and internal teams. You will manage a remote team, providing coaching and support, while also handling project support tasks, communication, and process coordination. This role requires 5+ years of project management experience, 3+ years of team management, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing and delivering complex projects, ideally in consulting, construction technology, or customer-facing environments
- 3+ years of experience managing or mentoring teams, with a focus on coaching, delegation, and performance development
- Proven experience independently managing client workstreams and complex priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote or consulting environment
- Experience with digital collaboration tools (e.g., G Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage complex priorities and foster alignment across teams
- Proficiency in managing documentation, deliverables, and project repositories
- Experience working in fully remote or distributed team environments
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a remote team of consultants
- Provide ongoing coaching and facilitate professional development
- Assist in hiring and developing team talent in line with project needs and culture fit
- Manage team calendars, meeting schedules, and logistics
- Participate in meetings, capture action items, and follow up to ensure accountability
- Maintain action plans and organizational charts for internal alignment
- Create status updates, presentation templates, and leadership-facing deliverables
- Draft concise communication plans tailored to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain documentation repositories and support consistent version control practices
- Track project workstreams and report on performance and milestones
- Conduct data gathering, analysis, and investigation to support business decisions
- Partner with Program Managers to improve and streamline operational processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Construction industry as it relates to business processes or project management
- Experience in the Technology industry as it relates to software implementations and administration
- Experience in the Customer Service industry as it relates to software support
- Experience with construction project management systems (i.e., ACC, Primavera Unifier, Microsoft Project, e-Builder, Procore, Newforma, etc.)
