Project Manager

Summary

Join Acolad's expanding team in the APAC/IST region as a fully remote Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for AI Data Services. Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex AI data projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets. Manage global, cross-functional teams, serve as the main client contact, and proactively solve problems. Identify and mitigate risks, manage resources and budgets efficiently, and continuously optimize project workflows. This role requires strong project management experience, preferably in AI/data services, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Functional phone or VoIP service for team and client communication
• Access to a computer with up-to-date software (Windows/Mac)
• Familiarity with online project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Slack, Zoom)
• High School Diploma or University Degree
• 5+ years of experience in project management , preferably in AI/data services or a related industry
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working independently and making data-driven decisions
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong grasp of AI data annotation, collection, validation, and transcription workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale AI data projects from initiation to completion
• Manage global, cross-functional teams across different time zones, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving
• Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure high-quality outputs through structured quality control processes
• Allocate resources efficiently and manage project budgets to meet timelines and deliverables
• Continuously assess and refine project workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and outcomes
• Utilize tools and platforms to effectively manage distributed teams and maintain full visibility on project progress

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R ) for automation or data handling
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Understanding of basic data structures and modeling concepts
• Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ, etc.)
