The job is for a Project Manager in the furniture industry, responsible for managing projects from planning to delivery using Buildertrend software. The role requires experience in project management within the furniture, construction, interior design, or architecture industry, and high-level English communication skills. The preferred requirements include attention to detail, customer service skills, and prior experience with Buildertrend.


  • Experience in project management in either Furniture, Construction, Interior design or Architecture industry
  • High level of English (written and verbal), for clear and efficient communication with Australian customers and supplier
  • Can take Project Ownership – from planning to delivery


  • Initial Project Setup: Convert job estimate/quote into Buildertrend excel import, Job setup in Buildertrend (Project Management Software), Submitting RFQs to Suppliers, Submitting RFIs to Customers, Facilitating Shop Drawings, Reading Floor plans/verifying product take-off, Confirming Project Terms and issuing Deposit Invoice
  • Project Executing/Management: Scheduling jobs as per Client Programme (If no programme – create one in partnership with the Client), Client Communication - regarding specs, finishes, delivery etc., and variations, Supplier Communication - regarding product availability/ETA/lead time etc., pricing, and efficient logistics (lean management), Issuing Purchase Orders – with detailed Scope of Works, Delivery – working closely with Logistics/Installation Supplier to ensure programme is met to 100% quality
  • Project Closing: Ensuring job complete to quality (defect free), Collecting Project Documents/Photos from Install Supplier (storing in Job Folder), Submitting Final Claim/Invoice to client - BUILDERTREND, Assessing Supplier Invoice – approving/rejecting (notifying supplier) payment - BUILDERTREND, Buildertrend Final Job check – PO’s, Invoices, Budget, Margins, Project de-brief to the Sales Team
