Project Manager

Summary

Join a dynamic team at European Dynamics as a Project Manager (EU Customs Systems) and contribute to delivering IT systems for the implementation of UCC. The successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team and work closely with a major client's IT team.

Requirements

• University degree combined with relevant professional experience of 10 years
• Expertise in EU Customs Systems
• Experience with the CT procedures
• Knowledge and good understanding of NCTS5, ICS2, Tariff and AIS
• Good understanding of UCC legislation, EUCDM (EU Customs Data Model) and EU Customs BPMs
• Experience with Project Management tools and methodologies
• Experience in project coordination procedures, preferably involving a recognized methodology
• Experience in large scale service support, service delivery and business continuity
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the work of the contractor who delivers IT systems for the implementation of UCC
• Verify the progress and provide additional feedback on the overall achievements of all tasks assigned to the contractor
• Assistance in the Conformance testing
• Provision of overall Business Process flows for the systems
• Internal Training for Customs officers on the UCC changes and IT Systems
• Training Material, Guidelines and Instructions for the Traders that he/she will use
• Produce and/or review documents
• Participate and contribute in meetings with client, contractors, Member States and/or other partners
