Project Manager

Summary

Join Salvo Software, a fully remote product-driven tech company, as a Project Manager. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle for web, mobile, and cloud-based applications, excluding automotive projects. Lead and coordinate distributed, remote-first teams, ensuring timely delivery and client goal alignment. Translate business needs into actionable technical plans, and act as the primary client contact. Monitor progress, manage risks, and enhance remote workflows. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Project Management within tech companies or software development environments
• Proven experience managing web, mobile, and cloud-based projects
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote, cross-functional teams effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working across time zones and handling asynchronous communication
• Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, Slack, and Google Workspace
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments and ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through execution and delivery
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers across different time zones
• Translate business requirements into clear technical action items and timelines
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and consistent communication
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and remove blockers to keep the team focused and on track
• Continuously improve project workflows and communication strategies in a remote setting
