Summary
Join BlueLabs' Insights division as a Project Manager I, Special Projects, playing a pivotal role in managing and coordinating client-facing and internal projects. You will support business development, oversee public opinion surveys, and manage engineering and analytics work. This role demands strong technical skills, exceptional organization, and cross-functional team collaboration. Reporting to the Associate Director, you'll enhance workflow efficiency, track progress, and drive measurable outcomes. The position requires 4+ years of relevant experience and a technical background. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in project, program, or product management, preferably in data analytics, technology, consulting, or related fields
- Training or educational background in engineering, data science, or a related technical discipline
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and strategists
- Experience supporting business development, including proposal writing and client communications
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience managing projects involving software or data product development
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority projects independently and simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with project management software (Asana, Jira, etc.), Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player with a problem solving attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational support across a range of internal and client initiatives, including surveys, analytics programs, and engineering projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of projects, managing internal and external communications, and monitoring timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
- Support business development efforts by contributing to project planning, scoping, and proposal development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
