Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of combined experience in Project Management and Scrum Master roles, specifically within software product development
- 2+ years of direct experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare benefits, insurance processes, and, ideally, experience with HRAs or self-funded plans
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), PMP, or equivalent project management/agile certification required
- Proven ability to manage complex software development projects from conception to launch
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a track record of successfully leading agile teams
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira) and collaboration tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget for ICHRA product features and enhancements
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to all stakeholders, including executive leadership, product owners, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary
- Coordinate and manage resources across multiple teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Manage relationships, as required, with external vendors or partners involved in ICHRA product development, ensuring deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements
- Track and report on key project metrics, progress, and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Ensure all project activities and product development adhere to relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, ICHRA-specific regulations) and internal compliance standards
- Serve as a servant leader and coach for one or more agile development teams, fostering self-organization, continuous improvement, and adherence to Scrum principles and practices
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to ensure effective communication and progress
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for development
- Track and report on key agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity, lead time) to help teams understand and improve their performance
- Champion continuous improvement within the development process, encouraging experimentation and adaptation based on team feedback and outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) or consumer-driven health plans (CDHPs)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, legal, sales, and operations
- Experience in a B2B and B2C SaaS environment within healthcare
