Summary
Join Swish Analytics, a sports analytics startup, as a Technical Project Manager to play a key role in building and guiding the next generation of Swish Software Engineering products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute engineering initiatives, setting strategic direction and driving continuous improvement. Define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables. Communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and manage the data science backlog. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones. Assist in staffing and resource assignment. This is a 100% remote position offering a base salary of $90,000-$120,000.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Asana or Jira
- Hands-on experience with data science tools and technologies, such as Python, SQL, AWS, etc
Responsibilities
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute on engineering initiatives, setting strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement
- Defines and documents project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Devising and adapting strategies for executing on necessary goals
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management
- Develops full-scale project plans and associated project & communication artifacts
- Managing the data science backlog and prioritizing them based on evolving requirements
- Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Assist in the staffing and assignment of resources based on project needs
Benefits
Base salary: $90,000 - 120,000
