Requirements
- Have a BS/BA in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- Have 3-5 years of previous experience in Project Management or using Agile methodology
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with engineering or development teams
- Possess strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task
- Have excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills
- Have experience working with global teams in varying time zones and remote locations
- Have the ability to accomplish goals by managing and influencing individuals to meet deadlines on time
- Have proven experience implementing standard project management and SDLC methodologies and best practices
- Have the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques is required
- Have experience using Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Monday.com
- Be willing to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays, as needed)
- Have strong knowledge in the G Suite of products: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Be comfortable or have experience working on a Mac machine
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple software development teams, employing Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver business value efficiently
- Prioritize collaboration with product managers to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Engage in project, capacity, and roadmap planning, demonstrating flexibility and fostering strong team collaboration, particularly with engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams
- Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items
- Facilitate technical and Scrum meetings to advance project goals
- Act as a primary communicator, effectively managing project-related information within the team and the wider organization, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed
- Provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress at weekly calls with management and stakeholders
- Work with the Product Owner and stakeholders to prepare for product launches, including setting the launch date, creating launch checklists, and overseeing launch activities on the go-live date
- Document and update project and process-related documentation
- Facilitate various meetings related to ongoing operations and project execution
- Ensure team(s) maintain focus on quality and consistent deliveries
- Be skilled in enhancing team efficiency and driving continuous improvement, with the ability to broadly understand technical concepts, though the actual technical responsibilities are overseen by Development Leads
- Serve as a dynamic team motivator and leader, committed to removing obstacles, resolving or escalating issues proactively, and cultivating a productive environment where team members feel empowered and have a strong sense of ownership
- Remove obstacles and create clarity and consensus to lead decisions on end-to-end solutions
- Embrace a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, leading by example and encouraging knowledge sharing among team members
- Demonstrate an attitude of team focus to accomplish overall project goals, maintaining a ‘we’re all in this together’ approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Have basic familiarity with technical IT related topics including: programming, networking, webservers and VMWare
- Have experience with Monday.com
