Prompt Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Prompt Engineer on contract to support the development of conversational companions. Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and the product team to create and iterate on LLM and VLM prompts for various tasks. Gather data and perform quality control. Develop complex prompts for internal business tasks, use internal tools to measure prompt efficacy, and collaborate with AI researchers and engineers. This role requires fluency in English, familiarity with data annotation and scripting, experience with LLM prompting, and excellent writing and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in English is preferred.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Familiar with data annotation work and scripting through coursework, internships, or personal projects
• Experience with LLM prompting (ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, etc) through personal or professional use
• Demonstrated excellence in writing and communication, for example, a Bachelor’s degree in English

Responsibilities

• Develop complex prompts to accomplish specific internal business tasks
• Use our internal tools to gather ground truth data that measures the efficacy of those prompts
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to discuss methodology and share results
