Proposal Marketer IV

Summary

Join Dudek as a Proposal Marketer IV and manage proposals as a key member of the proposal team. You will manage proposals of varying size and complexity, coordinating teams, writing content, and ensuring quality. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, English, or related field
• 8+ years proposal experience in the A/E/C industry
• Proven success working with proposal teams

Responsibilities

• Facilitate proposal meetings
• Manage the full request for proposal (RFP) process, coordinating the proposal teams, writing strategic content, and delivering completed proposals within schedule and quality standards
• Support special projects, such as content development
• Establish collaborative working relationships with a variety of disciplines and personalities
• Ensure quality control for RFP compliance and conformance with established company processes
• Participate in proposal training programs and processes as requested/needed
• Maintain accurate proposal records to support data analytics and metrics
• Collaborate with Proposal Services leadership team on programs and projects
• Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness
• Promote company’s vision, mission and core values

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent business writing skills and a working knowledge of document editing and formatting
• Thorough understanding of full proposal process
• Problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on managing proposal production schedules and teams to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to describe problems and solutions to team members and accurate work forecasts and status updates
• Capable of constructively teaching and learning from teammates
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of changing demands and deadlines
• Experience ensuring efficiency and compliance in the proposal process
• Ability to create a trusting dynamic between team members
• Familiarity with environmental and engineering terminology
• Decisive approach to maintaining established proposal quality standards
• Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, MS PowerPoint and Excel
