Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Deep domain expertise of mechanical engineering, propulsion analysis, or propulsion design or testing

Responsibilities

• Innovate and design propulsion solutions
• Use simulation tools to model propulsion mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate propulsion systems into the larger product framework
• Oversee the fabrication and testing of propulsion system prototypes
• Conduct rigorous testing and data analysis to evaluate system performance against benchmarks and specifications
• Iterate and refine designs to maximize efficiency, reliability, and meet safety standards
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to translate designs into scalable production processes
• Create comprehensive design documentation
• Ensure all designs and procedures comply with industry and governmental standards and regulations
• Stay updated with the latest advances in propulsion technology, integrating new findings into ongoing projects where applicable
