Requirements
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Deep domain expertise of mechanical engineering, propulsion analysis, or propulsion design or testing
Responsibilities
- Innovate and design propulsion solutions
- Use simulation tools to model propulsion mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate propulsion systems into the larger product framework
- Oversee the fabrication and testing of propulsion system prototypes
- Conduct rigorous testing and data analysis to evaluate system performance against benchmarks and specifications
- Iterate and refine designs to maximize efficiency, reliability, and meet safety standards
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to translate designs into scalable production processes
- Create comprehensive design documentation
- Ensure all designs and procedures comply with industry and governmental standards and regulations
- Stay updated with the latest advances in propulsion technology, integrating new findings into ongoing projects where applicable
