Protective Security Lead

Summary

Join Databricks as a seasoned Threat Intelligence Analyst to build our corporate and executive security function. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate potential threats from various sources. Conduct both rapid-response and long-term investigations into internal and external threats. Partner with HR, Legal, Facilities, and Corp Operations teams to ensure employee safety and security. Develop threat assessment reports and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement security measures and response plans. This role requires expertise in threat intelligence and investigation.

Expertise in conducting both rapid-response and long-term investigations into internal and external threats

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze potential threats across multiple sources including online forums, social media, and other intelligence channels
• Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious activities and security incidents
• Lead complex, long-term investigations into patterns of suspicious behavior from both internal and external actors
• Coordinate with HR, Legal, and IT teams on sensitive internal investigations
• Develop comprehensive threat assessment reports and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement security measures and response plans
• Track and analyze patterns of potentially malicious behavior
• Create and maintain intelligence collection requirements based on business priorities
• Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives to identify emerging risks
• Maintain relationships with external threat intelligence partners and law enforcement
• Establish investigation protocols and standard operating procedures for different types of threats
