Requirements

• Live in California
• Have a private, non-shared space for patient appointments
• Possess 2+ years of experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner
• Hold an active California Nurse Practitioner license and California nurse practitioner furnishing license with Schedule II prescriptive authority
• Have an active and unrestricted DEA (schedules II-V) - must be California DEA
• Be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC)
• Hold a Master’s/Post-Master’s certificate or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited program
• Have no adverse actions from nursing boards, hospitals, or credentialing bodies in the past 2 years
• Have no suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
• Be proficient in technology, EHR systems, and telehealth best practices
• Be willing to obtain a CURES account (PDMP) and ensure checks are completed before prescribing controlled substances, with follow-ups every 6 months
