Requirements
- Live in California
- Have a private, non-shared space for patient appointments
- Possess 2+ years of experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner
- Hold an active California Nurse Practitioner license and California nurse practitioner furnishing license with Schedule II prescriptive authority
- Have an active and unrestricted DEA (schedules II-V) - must be California DEA
- Be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC)
- Hold a Masterโs/Post-Masterโs certificate or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited program
- Have no adverse actions from nursing boards, hospitals, or credentialing bodies in the past 2 years
- Have no suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- Be proficient in technology, EHR systems, and telehealth best practices
- Be willing to obtain a CURES account (PDMP) and ensure checks are completed before prescribing controlled substances, with follow-ups every 6 months
