Summary
Join Fort Health, a child and adolescent mental health company, as a 1099 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing remote telehealth services. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy and medication management to children 13 and younger. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience working with this age group and a New Jersey license. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing a minimum of 5 sessions per week during after-school hours (Monday-Friday), with optional weekend availability. Requirements
- Be a fully licensed, ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in New Jersey
- Possess a minimum of one year of experience as a (PMHNP) specifically working with children and adolescents 13 and younger
- Have an NPI Number
- Have a DEA number, or be open to acquiring one
- Have reliable, high-speed internet access with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Have a desire to work with and learn from some of the top child mental health experts in the field
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to care
- Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with Fort Health’s network of licensed therapists
- Adhere to Fort Health’s platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training
- Provide unparalleled clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care on the platform
- Provide software and operational feedback to Fort Health’s in-house engineering and operational teams to improve products, workflows and care delivery
- Implement medication treatment plans for mild to moderate disorders in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, therapists, along with outside providers
- Ability to message between sessions to support patients and communicate with other internal providers
- Engage and collaborate in clinical meetings, supervision, and team meetings as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- Be Bilingual English / Spanish
- Have a commitment to working with diverse populations and diagnoses
- Be a reliable self-starter who is able to work independently and also as part of a team
- Have experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting, 3 years and up
