The internship is remote, offering a stipend of $1,250 per month, and runs from September 15th to December 5th, 2025, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week. Interns will work directly on important initiatives and projects, assisting staff on various administrative tasks. The application period is from June 25th to July 9th, 2025.

Requirements

• Be a current college student or recent college graduate
• Commit to working a minimum of 20 hours a week
• Set a consistent work schedule between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST Monday - Friday
• Commit to staying on board for the entire semester

Responsibilities

• Support media outreach and communication strategies, including drafting press releases, pitches, and media materials
• Assist in managing media lists and tracking PR coverage across various platforms
• Contribute to content creation for social media channels, newsletters, and the website
• Research trends and identify media opportunities to position Active Minds as a thought leader in mental health advocacy
• Help organize press events, conferences, and media briefings
• Assist with day-to-day tasks of the PR department, including coordinating logistics for interviews and speaking engagements
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of media campaigns
