Python Engineer

Requirements

• Demonstrate deep understanding of Python, including its advanced features and libraries
• Possess experience in asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio) for handling multiple concurrent requests
• Show proficiency in NumPy and Pandas for processing both images and the extracted structured data

Responsibilities

• Develop Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Computer Vision (CV) systems for data extraction from document scans and photos
• Utilize open-source libraries for OCR and CV (e.g., OpenCV, Pillow, Tesseract, EasyOCR)
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to serve models (using FastAPI or Flask)
• Optimize model inference speed and resource consumption (CPU/GPU/RAM) to handle high loads
• Employ acceleration techniques: batch processing, quantization, and GPU (CUDA) utilization
• Process images and extracted structured data using NumPy and Pandas
• Build data pipelines for efficient loading and image preprocessing of large datasets
• Implement concurrency models for efficient request management (e.g., threading, multiprocessing)
• Utilize message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
