Summary

Join our team as a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation, software development practices, and experience in building automation using Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and a solid understanding of software development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid experience building automation using Java or a similar programming language
  • Proficiency in at least one dynamic programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
  • Experience with browser and mobile test automation tools (Selenium, Protractor, Appium)
  • Knowledge of API test automation using REST Assured or Ready API/SoapUI
  • Familiarity with AWS architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Harness)
  • Proficient use of source code control tools (SVN, Git)
  • Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Performance testing experience using tools like JMeter
  • Knowledge of Sauce Labs, Selenium Grid, and Applitools is a plus
  • Previous experience in a software design and/or testing environment
  • Understanding of unit, integration, and functional testing strategies
  • Familiarity with software development frameworks (Agile Scrum, Kanban, XP, waterfall)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a Scrum team environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading test automation efforts for small-sized projects
  • Proactive in seeking and providing constructive feedback for personal and team improvement

  • Perform performance testing
  • Understand cloud architecture, specifically AWS
  • Utilize continuous integration and deployment tools
  • Manage code using source control tools
  • Work with Integrated Development Environments for development and testing
  • Explore advanced automation tools for visual automation
  • Apply knowledge of testing strategies across unit, integration, and functional testing
  • Comprehend software development lifecycle and testing concepts
  • Collaborate within various software development frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall
  • Lead test automation efforts for projects
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment
  • Seek and provide feedback for continuous improvement
