Senior QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Sr. QA Automation Engineer and contribute to the planning and implementation of manual and automated tests for our websites and software applications. You will collaborate with developers and the QA team to define and establish QA strategies and processes. Your responsibilities include planning and executing manual tests, writing and maintaining automated tests for frontend and backend services, and reporting on QA status to stakeholders. This role requires extensive experience in both manual and automation testing, along with proficiency in various testing frameworks and tools. A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Requirements

• Have at least 5+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing
• Develop and execute test plans and scenarios
• Have experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework
• Test complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms
• Use source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc
• Have an eye for detail
• Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Have vast knowledge in testing techniques to cover all possible corner cases for testing, verification and validation techniques

Responsibilities

• Work with developers and other members of the QA team to define and establish QA strategies and processes
• Plan, schedule, and perform manual tests on the company’s websites and software applications
• Write, maintain, and execute well-developed and stable automated tests for both frontend and backend services
• Report on QA status, as appropriate, to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines
