QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join our dynamic team as a skilled QA Automation Engineer! This remote, full-time (6-month contract with possible extension) position, open to LATAM candidates, requires 3+ years of experience in QA testing and automation. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and JMeter, collaborate with development teams, and ensure the quality and performance of our web applications. Strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and advanced English are essential. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git is desirable.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester, Automation Tester or similar role
• Proven experience creating scripts with Playwright
• Solid experience with JMeter for load testing
• Strong understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, and web technologies (CSS, HTML)
• Experience writing SQL scripts
• Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Develop, support, and extend JMeter scripts for load and performance testing
• Collaborate with development and product teams to refine and adapt testing strategies
• Write and maintain SQL scripts to support data validation and testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles
• Experience writing and executing Test Cases
• Understanding of Test Matrix design and maintenance
• Experience creating and maintaining test scripts with Cypress
