QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Keeper Security as a Test Automation Engineer and contribute to the development and maintenance of robust automation scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing of our web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. You will utilize various tools and frameworks to ensure the quality and scalability of our software. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work with a leading cybersecurity company. Develop test tools based on Keeper developer tools and SDKs and analyze test results, filing bug reports and working with developers to resolve issues. Monitor and maintain the health of automated test suites across multiple environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with automated API testing
• 5+ years of experience with automated web-based testing
• Experience with performance and load testing methodologies
• Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar)
• Development experience in JavaScript, Java, .NET, Python/Perl, or Go
• Experience with one or more modern test automation frameworks
• Experience using SDKs to develop automated processes
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and modern web technologies
• Proficient understanding of JSON, XML, and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, maintainable automation scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing
• Create and maintain end-to-end test cases using Playwright and other suitable tools to meet test objectives
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Develop test tools based on Keeper developer tools and SDKs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities across the SDLC
• Identify relevant test integration points that relate to operational scalability
• Utilize TestRail, Jira, and Confluence to manage test cases, tickets, and documentation
• Analyze test results, file bug reports, and work with developers to resolve issues
• Monitor and maintain the health of automated test suites across multiple environments
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and frameworks to enhance the test automation effort

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
