QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join PairSoft as a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation and contribute to the expansion of APRO operations in India. This remote position offers flexible hours (11 am - 8 pm IST) and involves collaborating with various teams to design, develop, and execute test strategies. You will leverage automation tools like Selenium and Playwright to ensure the quality of our spend management and accounts payable automation solutions. The role requires strong experience in automated testing and scripting skills in TypeScript or JavaScript. Requirements

• Good prompt engineering is a must
• Strong Experience of automated testing tools with Playwright
• Good development/scripting skills TS or JS
• Database skills, mainly in SQL Server
• Must Have exposure to Appium, JMeter, Postman, etc. tools

Responsibilities

• Interact with product owner, project manager and Development and QA teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
• Design, develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium
• Execute and analyze automation test results
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Selenium tool
• Support production deployment of applications and perform “validation testing” during the off-hours maintenance windows

Preferred Qualifications

• Good development/scripting skills in Java or C#
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of Mockito/Moq library and Junit/ Nunit framework
• Good to have Cypress
