Summary

The job is for a QA Automation Engineer at a global nonprofit organization that helps people learn about their family history. Requirements

• Experience with Cypress automation framework
• Solid understanding of back-end programming, Rest API and testing methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of our marketing pipeline solution
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright for testing service levels and APIs
• Automate API testing using tools like Bruno (currently used) and Postman (used in the past)
• Perform backend automation testing to ensure robustness and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into automated test cases
• Identify, document, and track bugs, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Monitor and analyze test results to ensure the effectiveness of automated tests
• Continuously improve and optimize testing processes, tools, and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with Playwright
