QA Automation Intern

Summary

Join the KernelCare SDET Automation team as an intern and contribute to the testing of live patching solutions. You will assist in setting up and maintaining Linux testing environments, running tests and scripts, and supporting the test infrastructure. This role requires Python scripting, Linux command-line proficiency, and understanding of basic system components. Requirements

• Python knowledge, familiarity with shell, and Python scripting
• Understanding of simple control structures (loops, conditionals, functions)
• Understanding of basic Linux commands and shell environment (e.g., systemctl, journalctl, ps, df, ssh), daily use of Linux
• Follow runbooks and standard operating procedures to execute system-related tasks with supervision
• Familiarity with common Linux file structures, permissions, and logs
• Understanding of core system components (CPU, memory, storage, network interfaces)
• English level - upper-intermediate
