Remote QA Engineer

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
• 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
• Interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of QA processes and tools
• Fast learner with an ability to work in a dynamic high-growth environment
• Ability to multitask and work against extremely tight deadlines
• Proficiency with AnswerRocket’s tech stack which includes: Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with Cypress, Selenium or other Web UI automation frameworks is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Cypress
• Perform manual testing to identify and document defects
• Oversee the manual regression cycle at the end of each release, ensuring thorough testing and accurate reporting
• Collaborate with developers to understand product functionality and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective test plans
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on unit tests in Python and Java
