QA Engineer

Summary

Injective Labs is seeking a highly skilled and resilient QA Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the blockchain or fintech industry, strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, proficiency in Python for automation testing, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in the blockchain or fintech industry
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing tools
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation testing
• Experience with various types of automated testing, including UI, API, integration, and performance testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Passion for blockchain technology and decentralized applications
• Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and ongoing changes in dApps
• Perform detailed manual testing to identify, document, and track bugs and issues
• Validate new features against functional requirements and specifications
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new code does not adversely affect existing functionality
• Develop and maintain a robust automation framework and test scripts using Python and industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) to support ongoing testing needs
• Implement automated testing for various types of tests, including UI, API, integration, and performance testing
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment
• Collaborate with the international QA team to ensure consistency and quality across all testing efforts
• Provide clear and concise documentation of test results, issues, and testing progress
• Conduct performance testing to assess the responsiveness, stability, and scalability of dApps

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing
• Knowledge of blockchain protocols and smart contract testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges
