QA Engineer

Summary

Join Lightci, a product design and development consulting partner, as a QA Engineer. You will be responsible for implementing testing strategies, developing and maintaining test automation, and collaborating with development and product teams. This role requires a strong QA foundation and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement in testing practices and contribute to the team's success. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript) for test automation
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright)
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., GitHub Actions)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Typescript
• Implement test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies
• Conduct thorough testing of web applications (React, Express, Electron) to identify and report defects
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of our QA practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience with Appium
• Experience utilizing LLMs (Large Language Models) for creating comprehensive and detailed test plans
