Requirements

  • 5+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Expert in software testing practices, automation, performance and API testing
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, and agile development principles
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based testing environments and practices
  • Strong scripting or coding skills for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Comfortable with defect tracking systems, test management tools, and reporting dashboards
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive testing and automation strategies that align with product and engineering goals
  • Create scalable test plans and automation frameworks that increase efficiency and quality
  • Continuously refine QA processes using industry best practices to improve defect detection and speed up release cycles
  • Coach and mentor QA engineers, fostering a strong quality-focused mindset and career growth
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and SRE to integrate QA practices into the development lifecycle
  • Lead development of automated test suites for both functional and non-functional testing, including performance and API testing
  • Oversee efficient defect resolution processes, including root cause analysis and clear reporting
  • Act as QA’s voice in technical discussions, planning, and risk assessments

Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB or equivalent certification
