QA Tester

Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester for a 6-month remote contract in the consulting industry. The role involves reviewing business requirements, developing test plans, executing test cases, evaluating product code, documenting defects, reporting bugs, troubleshooting issues, and working with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experience in ERP-CRM(Siebel) Tools
• 5 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze business requirements and system specifications
• Develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual and/or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to project team
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
