Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts, performing database testing, validating SQL queries, writing and maintaining test scripts, conducting BI report testing, identifying and remedying defects, and recommending preventative and corrective actions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- 3-6 yearsβ experience with test automation validation techniques
- Strong automation and database testing experience with proficiency in JavaScript for test automation
- Hands on experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance testing
- Experience testing BI Reports (Oracle Analysis or similar reporting tools)
- In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and DevSecOps principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and present to stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Be part of a team that is supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by disseminating data to researchers who are studying ways to improve the quality and reduce the cost of care provided to chronically ill Medicare beneficiaries
- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for data validation
- Perform database testing on Oracle/Snowflake
- Validate SQL queries and data workflows
- Write and maintain test scripts using JavaScript or other scripting languages
- Conduct BI report testing, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and consistency
- Identify and remedy defects within the production process
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
