Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Analyst and leverage your expertise in managing the testing process within an Agile environment. You will be responsible for various testing types, including unit, integration, functional, system, and more. Collaborate with different business areas to ensure consistent user interfaces and functionality. Your role involves creating testing scripts and plans, executing procedures, analyzing requirements, preparing test data, conducting testing, performing root cause analysis, and documenting findings. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and adherence to Eastern Standard Time business hours. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement
• Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time - United States business hours
• Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans
• Execute testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards
• Analyze business and technical requirement documents to create test cases and scenarios
• Prepare data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows
• Conducting and testing cases for functional requirements
• Perform root cause analysis for problem solving in test environment
• Perform user acceptance testing of software delivered from application development
• Isolate, reproduce, and track defects and verify fixes
• Document testing according to required procedures
• Liaise with all areas of the Datex Business and ensuring that we produce consistent user interfaces for our users, the features work per project requirements, and producing overall ease of use
