Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in QA or similar role, within healthcare or payer data environments, along with healthcare clearinghouse systems and EDI transactions is beneficial
- 3+ years' experience in test planning, execution, and defect tracking and with data validation, integration testing, and database QA
- 3+ years' experience with data visualization tools for QA reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years' experience with QA tools and platforms (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter)
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for payer data workflows, eligibility transactions, and EDI connections
- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing across Clearinghouse systems
- Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and edge cases in data processing pipelines
- Collaborate with partners to understand reporting and data validation requirements
- Develop automated test scripts using QA tools, SQL, and MongoDB and maintain test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on data pipelines and integrations
- Validate data retrieval and transformation logic through test cases
- Produce detailed QA reports highlighting test coverage, defects, and insights
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related quality issues
- Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to ensure QA readiness
- Partner with teams to understand data flows and quality requirements
- Collaborate with IT and data management teams to enhance QA processes and tooling
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to additional programming languages or scripting tools for test automation
- Advanced degrees or certifications in QA are beneficial
