Quality Assurance Analyst, Healthcare Technical

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in QA or similar role, within healthcare or payer data environments, along with healthcare clearinghouse systems and EDI transactions is beneficial
• 3+ years' experience in test planning, execution, and defect tracking and with data validation, integration testing, and database QA
• 3+ years' experience with data visualization tools for QA reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years' experience with QA tools and platforms (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter)

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for payer data workflows, eligibility transactions, and EDI connections
• Perform regression, functional, and performance testing across Clearinghouse systems
• Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and edge cases in data processing pipelines
• Collaborate with partners to understand reporting and data validation requirements
• Develop automated test scripts using QA tools, SQL, and MongoDB and maintain test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on data pipelines and integrations
• Validate data retrieval and transformation logic through test cases
• Produce detailed QA reports highlighting test coverage, defects, and insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related quality issues
• Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to ensure QA readiness
• Partner with teams to understand data flows and quality requirements
• Collaborate with IT and data management teams to enhance QA processes and tooling

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to additional programming languages or scripting tools for test automation
• Advanced degrees or certifications in QA are beneficial
