Summary
Join Octave, a modern behavioral health practice, as a Quality Assurance Associate and contribute to their mission of providing high-quality and accessible mental health care. This role involves providing direct consultation to clinicians on documentation and quality assurance standards, identifying and resolving quality issues, and offering administrative and project support for the broader QA initiative. You will play a hands-on part in upholding and advancing Octave's commitment to high-quality mental health care. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation and development of QA program plans, providing guidance to clinicians on documentation standards and clinical best practices, monitoring and reporting provider quality metrics, assisting with flagging and addressing provider-related issues, planning and managing quality assurance projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and potentially providing aspects of client care, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation and development of QA program plans
- Provide direct consultation and guidance to clinicians on documentation standards, clinical best practices, and quality assurance expectations
- Engage in the monitoring and reporting of provider quality metrics to identify trends and support continuous improvement
- Assist with flagging, investigating, addressing, and documenting provider related issues
- Plan, manage, and monitor ongoing quality assurance related projects
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- At times, provide aspects of client care including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, monitoring progress, intervening in crises, and documenting sessions in accordance with Octaveโs Care Model
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in an administrative and/or project management capacity
- Preferred minimum of two years experience in a quality assurance role
- Masterโs degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services or a related field is preferred
- Current clinical license and PsyD, PhD, LMFT, LPCC or LCSW; must be registered and maintain appropriate licensure with the appropriate state Board of Behavioral Science
- Experience and understanding of the mental health or healthcare industry
- Previous experience of electronic health record systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter who is willing to be proactive and solution oriented
- Working knowledge of Google Suite, strong skills with Excel strongly preferred
- Flexibility in the role and willingness to go outside of the exact job responsibilities is a requirement
