Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer in WatchGuard is an intermediate level role that requires a passionate, quality-focused software QA engineer with experience in tech, agile setup, and cloud technologies. The role involves developing robust processes using agile methodologies, ensuring high-performance and resilient software, learning from senior engineers, upholding security standards, and maintaining an open environment of collaboration.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP/S, FTP, SSL, IPSec etc
• Basic network devices knowledge such as routers and switches
• Familiar with Web based or UI application test automation
• Knowledge of software testing, including QA process and QA methodologies
• Experience with one or more scripting language such as Python and Unix shell
• Project experience on Linux/UNIX and Windows as well as familiarity with databases
• Understanding of software development process
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks at one time
• Good written and verbal communication skills
