Summary

Join Experian as a QA Engineer and ensure the quality and reliability of our web, desktop, and cloud-hosted applications used for data profiling, enrichment, and suppression in marketing analytics. Reporting to the Lead Software Engineer, you will work across manual and automated testing, shaping the QA strategy for a modern AWS-based architecture. You will design and implement test cases, scripts, and plans; perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing; collaborate with developers and stakeholders; contribute to test strategy and process improvement; maintain test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration; report bugs; participate in Agile ceremonies; and support team knowledge sharing. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (such as JavaScript, React, Angular, C#, Python, or similar), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Interpret business/product requirements and translate into appropriate test scripts and plans
  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (Jira, TFS)
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement manual and automated test cases, scripts, and plans
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders from early development stages
  • Contribute to test strategy, planning, and process improvement
  • Maintain test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
  • Report bugs, ensuring resolution and re-testing
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support team knowledge sharing
