Summary

Join House Rx as a Quality Assurance Engineer and help make specialty medications more accessible and affordable. You will ensure that only well-tested software is delivered to clients, collaborating with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities include writing high-quality tests, holding developers accountable for test coverage, understanding data sets, owning QA responsibilities for projects, defining test criteria with product managers, generating and executing test plans, implementing end-to-end browser tests, and assisting with system performance monitoring. This role requires 3 years of QA engineering or test-driven development experience, proficiency in Jest, Playwright, or a similar framework, JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS, intermediate SQL skills, experience in incident management, and familiarity with app monitoring tools. Requirements

  • 3 years experience in QA Engineering or test-driven development
  • Experience with Jest, Playwright, or another modern test framework
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS
  • Able to write intermediate SQL queries to triage data-related incidents
  • Experience in incident management
  • Experience with app monitoring tools such as Sentry, Grafana, etc
  • An awareness that we succeed and fail together

Responsibilities

  • Write high quality unit, integration, and data assertion tests to enforce code quality for our services
  • Hold developers accountable for test coverage and create/propagate testing best practices
  • Form a strong understanding of our data sets and enforce a high-level of data quality and integrity
  • Own the QA responsibilities for projects from kick-off through release ensuring high quality features are delivered to clients
  • Partner with product managers to define test criteria for new application features
  • Generate/execute test plans based on product and design specifications
  • Implement end to end browser tests to ensure long term test coverage of new and existing features
  • Assist with monitoring the performance and health of our systems
